Rental Fees - Non-Chamber Members
(Weddings, baby showers, birthdays, etc.)
Security Deposit: $200 (A $50 non-refundable reset fee will be retained from the deposit)
Weekday Rates:
Monday–Friday (8-hour rental): $150
Monday–Thursday (after 4 PM, 8-hour rental): $250
Weekend Rates:
Friday or Saturday (8-hour rental): $500
Friday or Saturday (extended rental): $800
Friday & Saturday (2-day rental): $1,000
Sunday Rate:
Sunday (8-hour rental): $350
Additional Information: Rental time includes setup and cleanup. Additional time may be available upon request.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made14 days or more prior to the reservation will receive a
full refund of the rental fee and security deposit.
Cancellations made
within 14 days of the reservation will result in the
rental fee being forfeited. The
security deposit will be refunded.
Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is permitted; however,
event insurance is required and must be provided prior to the event.
If alcohol is present without proof of event insurance, the
security deposit will be forfeited.

Historic Train Depot Information
Our Train Depot, located at 135 East Main Street, is a great place to have your next event. Whether you are having a meeting, dinner or reception, the Depot can meet your needs.
The Event Hall is in the old train station center and still has the charm of the original floors, exposed brick walls and rafters, wooden freight doors and large windows.

RENTAL FEE IS DUE 14-DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT.

History of the Depot:
In 1886, Florida Southern railway purchased the right of the way for the train tracks. By 1889, the town had a full-time depot master, regular train service and a wooden train depot railroad personnel named the Train Stop Wauchula, using a Native-American word meaning "cry of the sandhill crane."
The brick depot opened on January 28th 1915, replacing the original wooden structure. At it's busiest time, there were 8 trains daily, with 4 Northbound and 4 Southbound, which included an equal number of passenger and freight trains. Train service was discontinued to Wauchula on Tuesday, June 10th 1986 at 12:01am.
