Business Advocacy
The
mission set forth by the Business Advocacy

Committee is to
influence the development and implementation of public
policies that affect the business sector of the community.
The Business Advocacy Committee, our newest committee, began
after conversations with several business owners in the county.
The
goal of this committee is to better communication between the public
sector and private sector in an effort to create an environment for
diverse economic development and/or business
expansion.
The
Business Advocacy Committee also works to
increase private sector
advocacy in the hopes that a “voice” will encourage the public
sector to improve and work towards a more enabling environment.
Education Committee
The mission statement of the Hardee County

The Hardee County Chamber of Commerce
Leadership Committee is responsible for the planning and
implementation of the Leadership Hardee Program.
Leadership
Hardee is a comprehensive, tuition based program for selected
participants to gain the skills and knowledge to become a community
leader. The program,
designed to identify existing and emerging leaders from various
segments of the community, begins in September of each year.
The Leadership Committee is in its second year of Leadership
Hardee.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee of the Chamber of Commerce exists to
recruit new members and works to retain existing members.
They do so by authorizing membership drives, selecting
incentives for the benefit of our members, providing potential
members and new members with adequate information and solicit new
members by making phone calls each month to non-members.
