The Mission of the Hardee County Chamber of Commerce exists to foster the development and growth of the business community of    the County.

We also strive to unite community interests and combine the efforts of real estate, industrial, retail, wholesale, tourist, financial, transportation, professional and service businesses and all civic and governmental organizations in the community, to promote the resources of the community.

What the Chamber of Commerce does for you:
• Prints and distributes local Hardee County maps.
• Distributes free State maps.
• Prints and distributes Hardee County brochures.
• Registered liaison with Florida Dept. of Commerce Motions Picture & Television
   Bureau.
• Distributes brochures on attractions in Florida.
• Provides statistics on the area, such as population, labor force, area facts, etc.
• Develops and distributes lists of RV Parks, motels, restaurants in the area to attract
   tourists.
• Maintains highway billboard signs to “WELCOME” people to Hardee County.
• Provides information about local events including Pioneer Park Days, The Story of
   Jesus, Tug of War’s, etc.
• Maintains a list of activities and coming events.
• Provides a list of service clubs and organizations in the area with address, telephone
   number, when and where the clubs meet and the president’s name.
• Distributes business cards and flyers.
• Checks motel availability for special holidays or events.
• Produces monthly Newsletter.
• Hosts the Annual Business/Industry Appreciation Dinner.
• The Christmas Parade sponsored by the Chamber provides the County with an event
   that promotes community involvement through elected officials, businesses,
   charities, clubs, organizations, churches and individuals.
• The Chamber sponsors Christmas Card Lane and Adopt-A-Pole offering clubs,
   organizations, businesses, individuals and charities a means of expressing season’s
   greetings in a non-commercial way — giving visibility to the community at large.
